Stones & Stories - Volunteers Constructing Dry Stone Walls on Kaisereggalp/Alp Walop
June 3rd - July 5th, 2024
Kaisereggalp / Alp Walop, Gantrisch region - Schwarzsee / Simmental

At Stones&Stories volunteers from the Bern/Fribourg region renovate the dry stone walls on the Kaisereggalp/Alp Walop under the guidance of experts.
The project wants to give committed people of all ages the opportunity to work for the preservation and the environment in Gantrisch and its cultural assets. At the same time, this joint work in nature creates a space for meeting, getting to know each other and working together. The assignment duration is freely selectable and can vary between individual days and several weeks. An experienced team of dry masons is also present.
